Job Title: Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer position will co-manage the design of training content for trainer-led presentation scripts, web-based LIVE Learning modules and supplemental job aids. The Instructional Designer develops engaging and instructionally sound, print and web-based training tools for call center agents; demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills; and is able to work collaboratively with the Creative Design/Client Services teams to produce digital presentations, video learning modules and print pieces. Determine production timelines, content requirements and resources needed to complete assignments. Compose and edit scripts as well as storyboards. Provide and discuss content outlines with the clients and secure approvals. Establish details such as production schedules and closely monitor project management tools to ensure updates are timely and projects are on schedule. Create and send status reports to project leads. Key skills include technical writing, teaching/training, performance measuring, curriculum and course development, ability to work independently or on a team. The Instructional Designer will report to the Account Director, Client Service.




  • Strong communicator who is collaborative and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; must be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously to consistently meet deadlines

  • Capability to write educational training materials in the client’s

  • Brand voice Pushing beyond fact-regurgitation and simple copy-editing; you consistently add new perspective and value to client content.

  • Ability to take complex topics and break them down into easy to understand topics through visual design and course content. Must understand adult learning theory and principles.

  • Quick study and have the ability to adapt and learn new programs quickly

  • Must have the ability to creatively troubleshoot and simplify complex processes, set clear objectives and deliver under demanding deadlines.



  • Design creative, instructionally sound training solutions within budget and timeline constraints

  • Analyze complex technical content and write concise, accurate scripts for online and print use

  • Collaborate with in-house Creative Department to develop print and digital training tools

  • Design quizzes and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention Identify technical, visual, and written style standards for each project, and model the type of writing appropriate to the design

  • Proofread completed projects to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material Participate in team brainstorming and strategy meetings to help define goals




  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience with a focus on any or all of the following: Instructional Design, Communications, Technical Writing, Training and/or Education Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and Windows Office.

  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately

  • Needs to be able to design Instructor-Led materials, as well as, e-learning or on-demand content.

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills High attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines Work both independently and within a team

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team
