Job Title: Certification Project Coordinator

SmithBucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for a Certification Project Coordinator and would be accountable for supporting the overall delivery of Certification programs for their assigned clients. The Certification Project Coordinator supports and implements program components of certification program delivery, will also work with online content delivery (webinars, other).
This role is accountable and responsible for certification program projects, certification operations support, vendor engagement and work closely with volunteer-led committees. We are seeking an individual who can work in a fast paced matrix environment and ensure strong client relationships while managing multiple priorities.
Key focus areas and activities for the Certification Project Coordinator role include:
Program Development & Management
Coordination of and communications to Subject Matter Experts (SME) including certification governing boards, subcommittees, and exam development volunteers
Serve as staff liaison to multiple education and certification oversight committees
Implements and updates all certification policies and procedures (including initial application, recertification, reinstatement, ethics, CE, and exam development)
Support exam development and delivery process
Support the adherence of accreditation standards into the certification program (as applicable)
Support the RFP process as required; leads vendor sourcing, selection and management - Including psychometricians, testing software companies and certification and accreditation software
Project Management
Proactively communicates project status, program deadlines, identifying any areas of concern and addresses issues to ensure program outcomes are met.
Identifies problems and proactively seeks out methods to improve self-performance and/or efficiency of an operation or task
Manages regular reporting to stakeholders as required
Provide administrative support of certification programs as required
General
Ensure communications with internal teams, vendors, speakers, and volunteers are accurate and timely as it relates to educational programs and initiatives
Learn and adapt to changing procedures, methods or processes
Advise client and staff team on answers to critical questions concerning activities, problems or issues and provide updates both verbal and written format to supervisors and staff, as required
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3-4 years total professional experience
Experience working with multiple clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant experience in certification program/project coordination required
Experience working with volunteer committees and/or volunteer subject matter experts preferred
Knowledge of certification/testing industry standards
Solid PC experience with Windows operating system and a variety of software programs (Microsoft Office Suite - including database management experience, zoom/virtual platforms and LMS systems a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently and escalating concerns (multiple concurrent tasks)
Very strong attention to detail
