Position Description:

The UCLA School of Dentistry seeks an Instructional Designer to support the instructional design needs of faculty, students and staff.

The successful candidate will have four main duties:

(1) Establish and implement School of Dentistry's long-term strategy for integration of emerging instructional design technologies into teaching and learning solutions,

(2) Represent the SOD and manage the communication and correspondence with the UCLA Canvas LMS Program Team and Instructional Designers to delineate the SOD's scheduling and system needs in preparation for the campus's transition from Moodle-CCLE to Canvas;

(3) Serve as the lead super user for student information, curriculum data, and learning management systems (OASIS and CCLE/Canvas)

(4) coordinate all activities related to the dental school predoctoral accreditation process (CODA) including data analysis of curriculum evaluation and assessment and CODA annual reports.
