Job Title: Instructional Designer

Hodges University seeks an experienced full-time Instructional Designer to assist in the design, development, and implementation of online and blended courses rooted in sound pedagogical principles, as well as creating related professional development initiatives and opportunities for faculty. Reporting directly to the Online Learning Coordinator, the Instructional Designer will be chiefly responsible for providing consultative and technical support to faculty to enhance the quality of online and blended courses.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience related to the design and delivery of online and blended courses in higher education, with a particular emphasis on aligning existing and emerging instructional technologies with the learning styles and preferences of non-traditional students. Applicants should demonstrate familiarity with industry standards and current research, and best practices in instructional design principles along with a proven capacity for the timely and collaborative management of projects.
