Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer
Organization: Holland L.P.
Location: Crete, IL
Utilize your well-rounded design skills and passion for learning principles in helping establish a successful instructional design practice within our growing company. You would directly support our corporate strategy to have the best trained employees within our industry by working with all levels within the organization to determine training needs and develop learning content. Specific responsibilities are as follows:

Facilitate and assist in the development of learning solutions complete with process mapping and learning sequencing.

Work directly with subject matter experts to develop and design facilitator-led courses.

Spearhead the development of multiple micro learning ‘how to’ video series for key business units.

Participate in training steering committee meetings to provide scope and resource guidance to executive team.

Manage assigned internal and/or external resources as part of overall project management accountabilities.

Serve as our internal expert on multi-media training options complete with recommendations on courses of action to meet training objectives.

Create company standards for content and training materials.

Manage our intranet training site, Holland University, in partnership with our technology team.

Successfully manage a fluid project work load with appropriate adaptation to change priorities, as needed.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5-7 years of full-time instructional design experience, preferably in a business setting.

A Bachelor’s Degree with a writing intensive major and/or curriculum.

Successful track record with multi-media training technologies.

Advanced writing aptitude with a proven track record of training deliverables.

Excellent project management skills.
