Job Title: Curriculum Developer/Writer
Organization: Junior Achievement USA
Location: Virtual
We are looking for individual contractors to support our various year long projects:

Develop detailed lesson plans based on curriculum maps, standards, and other client specifications

Conduct any necessary research regarding: state standards, curricular approaches, online teaching methods, etc.

Design engaging and innovative lessons that leverage technology, research-based strategies, and best practices for classroom, blended, and online self-guided delivery

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the team is creating effective lessons
-
Develop formative and summarize assessments that accurately monitor student progress

Write teacher, student, and volunteer materials, such as guides, activities, onscreen presentations, interactive content
-
Work collaboratively with instructional and visual designers
Candidates will have:
-
A Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)
-
High School Teaching experience (online or in-person)
-
At least 5 years of experience writing high school curriculum for online and classroom use
-
Experience with financial literacy, business, entrepreneurship, or CTE education
Skills include:
-
Communication and interpersonal skills
-
Tech proficiency: Power Point, Word, Google Suite

Experience taking responsibility for projects and meeting fast deadlines
Other:

Availability between 9 am and 5 pm EST (work hours are flexible, but the ability to be online during this time is important)
